Contains primarily news articles and pamphlets regarding consumers in the United States. The topics range from consumer psychology and the personalities of consumers to Churaman's advocacy materials for the metric system in the U.S. A portion relates specifically to consumer advocacy, and a significant part of these articles contain information about consumer rights advocate Ralph Nader. There are also several booklets relating to consumer education, and some folders contain copies of legislation made for consumer protections and for the creation of consumer unions.

Some of these are directly related to the KSU College of Engineering, while others are more recreational endeavors. These projects include the construction of Rathbone’s own house, of the Sunset Cemetery Paslay Singing Tower, of Fiedler Hall, and of Rathbone Hall. There are also records pertaining to the management of Colbert Hills Golf Course, and jazz clubs, events, and publications that Rathbone was apart of. Additionally, there are records related to commencements and banquets for other schools, such as Allen County Community College, Clay Center High School, and Baldwin High School.
